Job summary

Halcyon Knights is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor (AO6) to lead communications and stakeholder engagement for Sunshine Coast infrastructure packages. Based in Buderim, you’ll work with contractors, project teams and government agencies, shaping strategy and delivering clear, timely messaging throughout the project lifecycle.

You’ll provide strategic advice on reputation management, risk and issues, coordinate community outreach, and ensure communications meet departmental standards

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering communications and stakeholder engagement in major construction/infrastructure projects.
• Ability to build relationships across government, contractors and communities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with capability to translate complex topics into clear messages.

Responsibilities

• Lead communications and stakeholder engagement for designated project packages.
• Act as a liaison between company, contractors and delivery teams.
• Develop and advise on communications strategies for major milestones and issues.
• Coordinate communications around construction activities, notifications and community briefings.
• Monitor stakeholder sentiment and provide insights to support decision making.
• Represent the company in meetings with contractors and community groups.
