Job summary

Nyra Solar And Electrical Pty Ltd – Frankston VIC is seeking an experienced electrician to deliver high-quality solar and battery installations on new residential builds, across Melbourne's western, eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

You will hold a Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence and SAA accreditation, with hands-on experience in solar PV and battery storage, working independently while collaborating with the team to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience installing solar PV systems and battery storage
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive and reliable with good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Installing solar PV systems and battery storage solutions

You’ll play an important role in delivering quality solar and battery installations on new residential builds, working across Melbourne's Western, Eastern and South-Eastern suburbs.

Key responsibilities

• Installing solar PV systems and battery storage solutions
• Completing electrical installations, testing and commissioning
• Performing maintenance, fault-finding and troubleshooting on solar and battery systems
• Ensuring all work meets relevant Australian standards, regulations and safety requirements
• Working alongside builders, other trades and the wider team to deliver quality projects
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism on-site

About you

• A current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Current SAA accreditation relevant to the solar and battery work required
• Experience installing solar PV systems and battery storage
• A strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
• A reliable, professional attitude and pride in your workmanship
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Good communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
• A willingness to learn, take on new challenges and grow with the business

$45–$55 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience and skills
