Job summary

Auburn Co Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based electrical contracting company delivering commercial and residential electrical services, air-conditioning and communication installs. We seek a qualified Electrician to join our team and take ownership of diverse projects.

You will work across Melbourne on commercial installations, maintenance and fitouts, reading plans and mentoring apprentices. A full-time position with opportunities for progression and a company vehicle is available to the right

Qualifications

• Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Construction Induction White Card.
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety requirements.
• Experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work within a team.
• Overtime opportunities and long-term employment may be available.

Job description

You'll be involved in a variety of electrical projects across Melbourne, including commercial electrical installations and fitouts, lighting, power and switchboard installations, electrical rough-in, fit-off and commissioning, three-phase installations, mains and submains, air-conditioning electrical installations, communications and data cabling, electrical maintenance, fault finding and testing, supervising and mentoring apprentices, reading plans, coordinating materials and managing daily site requirements, and working alongside builders, project managers and other trades.
