Job summary

Tecside Group in Melbourne is seeking qualified A-Grade Electricians for a commercial fit-out on a large project across Melbourne suburbs. You will be involved in electrical installation, fit-out, lighting and distribution boards, reading plans, and coordinating with the site team.

Immediate start available, great pay rates, ongoing projects and a focus on safety and quality. Suitable candidates will have Victorian A-Grade licence, White Card, and experience in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
• Relevant commercial electrical experience.
• Experience with construction, retail fit-outs or similar projects highly regarded.
• White Card.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans.
• Own standard electrical tools.
• Reliable transport.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work productively as part of a site team.
• EWP desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation and fit-out of major projects.
• Lighting installation, emergency lighting and controls.
• Fit-off and terminations, switchboards and distribution boards.
• Cable installation and associated electrical works.
• Reading and working from electrical drawings and plans.
• Working with supervisors and other trades to keep the project on schedule.
• Identifying and reporting hazards, defects, variations and material requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Completing required site safety documentation.
