Job summary

Auburn Co Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based electrical contracting company delivering commercial and residential electrical services, air-conditioning and communication installs. We seek a qualified Electrician to join our team and take ownership of diverse projects.

You will work across Melbourne on commercial installations, maintenance and fitouts, reading plans and mentoring apprentices. A full-time position with opportunities for progression and a company vehicle is available to the right

Qualifications

• Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Construction Induction White Card.
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety requirements.
• Experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work within a team.
• Overtime opportunities and long-term employment may be available.

Responsibilities

• Commercial electrical installations and fitouts.
• Lighting, power and switchboard installations.
• Electrical rough-in, fit-off and commissioning.
• Three-phase installations, mains and submains.
• Air-conditioning electrical installations.
• Communications and data cabling.
• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and testing.
• Supervising and mentoring apprentices.
• Reading plans, coordinating materials and managing daily site requirements.
• Working alongside builders, project managers and other trades.
