Job summary

AESSEAL is seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Mechanical Fitting Apprentice or fully qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Wacol team in Brisbane. This local, full-time permanent role offers stability and a clear path to completing your trade qualification.

You will carry out maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on pumps and mechanical systems, diagnose issues, and document work with a safety-first mindset. 38-hour weeks ensure you’re home every night.

Qualifications

• Must have full working rights in Australia.
• Solid hands-on experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Fitting Apprentice.
• Machining ability is desirable for on-site work.
• Strong understanding of pumps and mechanical systems.
• Safety-first mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We’re Looking For

You must have full working rights in Australia.

Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent), or be a 3rd or 4th Year Mechanical Fitting Apprentice looking to complete your apprenticeship.

Solid hands-on experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Fitting Apprentice.

Machining ability (desirable) as onsite work is sometimes required.

Strong understanding of pumps and mechanical systems.
