Job summary

Central Coast Group Training (CCGT) invites applications for a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician at their Gosford-based host employers. The role offers full-time employment and structured training to complete the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician through TAFE NSW Wyong.

Ideal candidates are in the early-to-mid stage of trade training, with two years of apprenticeship completed, safety‑minded, and ready to gain hands-on experience in commercial-scale facilities and live work

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Completed at least 2 years of electrical apprenticeship training.
• White Card and driver license in good standing.
• Working with Children Check and Police Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical maintenance across large facilities and sites.
• Assist with installation and repair tasks under supervision.
• Participate in inspections, upgrades and preventative works.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems in live environments.
• Apply WHS practices and electrical safety protocols.
• Work across commercial-scale infrastructure.
• Follow site procedures, safety requirements and compliance standards.
• Continue off-the-job training through TAFE NSW Wyong.
