Job summary

Bertazzo in Victoria, Australia is seeking a 3D and 2D Draftsperson to develop detailed drawings for approval and manufacture. The role requires delivering accurate designs and supporting documentation with strong communication within a team-oriented environment.

You will read specifications, create DXFs/PDFs, and ensure AS1100 compliance, while producing full BOMs and updating as-built drawings after manufacture. A collaborative, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D and 2D CAD drafting to AS1100 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D and 2D detailed drawings from specification for approval and manufacture.
• Provide engineering design calculations and data to justify the design.
• Read and understand design specifications.
• Detail part and assembly drafting including DXFs and PDFs.
• Produce BOM and single parts list from the model with revisions.
• Ensure drawings comply with Australian Standard AS1100.
• Perform red line updates after manufacture for as-built drawings.

The Opportunity:

We currently have an opportunity for a 3D and 2D Draftsperson. The successful candidate will have proven experience in in both 3D and 2D design.

The role involves:

• Development of 3D and 2D detailed drawings from specification for approval and manufacture
• Provide engineering design calculations, data and knowledge to justify the design
• Read and understand design specifications
• Detail part & assembly drafting including DXFs (Flat Patterns) & PDFs of all drawings
• Produce BOM and single parts list of entire job, with total quantities and revisions generated directly from the model
• Ensure drawings comply with Australian Standard AS1100 (Technical Drawing).
• Red Line updates; receipt of issued drawings post manufacture, for updating “as built”

• Previous 3D and 2D design experience

This is a Monday to Friday role, with hours of work 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 2:00pm Friday.
