Job summary

Goodpeople HR is seeking 3 x Compounder Formulator Manufacturing Operators/Blenders for Day and Afternoon shifts in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. The roles involve formulating and blending lotions, creams, personal care products and medicines in a GMP facility.

Ideal candidates have GMP/HACCP experience, are reliable, detail-oriented and able to follow precise recipes. A forklift license and dispensary experience are advantageous. PR or AU citizenship is mandatory for permanent roles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare plant and equipment per GMP code and SOPs, ensuring required documentation.
• Carry out formulation as per Job Sheet.
• Follow safety directions and wear PPE as prescribed.
• Keep plant and equipment in good working order with guards calibrated as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance where appropriate.
• Ensure raw materials are QC approved before use.
• Return unused materials to stores per prescribed procedure.
• Lift heavy materials up to 25 kg as required.

3 x Compounder / Formulator / Manufacturing Operator / Blender

Seeking Afternoon and Day Shift Formulator / Compounder / Mixer / Batch Maker / Manufacturing Operator / Manufacturer / Blender / Batcher / Chemical Mixer / Medicine Prep / Med Prep

3 x Day Shift - (Salary Package: $79,112 salary package including 11.5% Super)

Location: South Eastern Suburbs (near Clayton)

Shifts Available: Day and Afternoon

Employment Conditions: Permanent Full-Time position directly with the client

Training: Must be able to complete training on day shift - due to the nature of working with chemicals in this role a SR100 half face respirator needs to be worn and can only be worn safely if clean shaven.

Responsibilities:

The formulating/mixing/blending/production assistance of products such as lotions, cream, personal care products, medicines, hand sanitiser etc within a dedicated GMP facility.

What we are looking for:

Candidates who are reliable, have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, able to work in a fast-paced environment, have good communication skills and a can-do attitude as well as have experience with GMP or HACCP and are physically fit to lift 25kgs as there is heavy lifting of raw materials involved in the job. The role requires individuals who have good attention to details, good mathematical ability and literacy, to follow instructions on the recipes exactly, as they are mixing and blending small and large industrial batches e.g 1 tonne of hand sanitiser formula from scratch and in accordance to all pharmaceutical quality standards, preparing this for the packaging area where they go into bottles, jars or tubes.

Day to day tasks:

1. 1. Prepare plant and equipment in accordance with the code of GMP and relevant SOP’s in readiness to formulate, having regard to all necessary documentation requiring data entry such as signatures.
2. 2. Carry out formulation as per the Job Sheet.
3. 3. Comply with all general safety directions for the workplace and those prescribed on the Job Sheets.
4. 4. Ensure that all plant and equipment used in the process of formulating is in good safe working order eg; machine guards are in place. If such equipment is required to be calibrated, ensure that equipment is in calibration date.
5. 5. Ensure regular and routine maintenance is carried out where appropriate.
6. 6. Ensure that all raw materials are QC approved before using.
7. 7. Ensure all raw materials being returned to the store are done so in the prescribed manner.
8. 8. Must be able to lift - 25 kgs regularly.

Experience in a similar role is a must. Forklift licence and Dispensary experience advantageous.

Must have own reliable car and licence.
