Job summary

Neumann Contractors on the southern Gold Coast in Currumbin Waters is seeking multiple 2nd year apprentices for an Apprentice Boilermaker role. You will develop practical skills and complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) under qualified supervision.

The role focuses on fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of structural steel, plant and equipment, with emphasis on safe work practices and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Australian Apprenticeship training contract (2nd year) for Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding).
• Genuine interest in fabrication, welding, engineering and developing a long-term trade career.
• Current C Class Driver Licence is desirable; ability to attend Currumbin workplace and off-site training is required.
• White Card and/or relevant high-risk work licences are advantageous but not essential and may be obtained as training progresses.
• Willingness and ability to participate in workshop and site-based work, subject to appropriate training, competency and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical skills, technical knowledge and industry experience to complete the Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding).
• Work under supervision to support fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of structural steel, plant and equipment.
• Contribute to safe work practices, quality workmanship and efficient project delivery.
