What you’ll learn

Welding and metal fabrication techniques

Reading drawings and job specifications

Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparation of materials

Safe use of workshop machinery and equipment

Fabrication and assembly of steel components

Workshop safety and quality standards

How jobs progress from drawings and materials through to finished fabrication

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

Is genuinely interested in becoming a qualified boilermaker

Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Is reliable and punctual

Is willing to listen, learn and take direction

Enjoys practical, hands‑on work

Takes pride in doing things properly

Works well as part of a team

Understands the importance of safety in the workplace

Previous experience isn’t essential. Attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
