Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a skilled Welder for 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm), Monday through Friday. The role involves welding metal parts, reading blueprints, and setting up equipment to form permanent bonds.

Must meet welding experience requirements and be able to read measurements accurately. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting welding positions, ensuring welds meet specifications, and complying with the company's QMS.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify exact measurements on a tape measure.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Welding certificate/associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal parts using high heat to form permanent bonds.
• Read and interpret blueprints to plan welds and positions.
• Determine welding position and type of metal; set up welding equipment.
• Ensure welds meet standards and specifications; comply with Daifuku's QMS policies.
• Support continuous improvement to deliver high-quality performance.
