Job summary

ADM Nutrition in Erlanger, KY is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, develop production colleagues, and ensure safety and quality standards while maintaining equipment and meeting output targets.

This full-time, exempt role requires strong leadership, data-driven problem solving, and experience with ERP/MRP systems; overtime eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Associates or Bachelor degree preferred in Manufacturing tech, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
• Strong critical thinking and decision making
• Data-driven problem solving using Six Sigma, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis
• OSHA safety training
• Experience leading production in a complex manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for manufacturing processes to meet schedules
• Train, mentor, develop, and evaluate production colleagues
• Ensure shift activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines
• Track productivity and implement efficiency improvements
• Prepare and present reports to management
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate goals and priorities
• Utilize Microsoft Office, ERP, MRP, and data-tracking software daily
• Prioritize resources and equipment to maximize productivity and satisfy customers
• Communicate daily follow-through and drive corrective actions for issues
• Collaborate on continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives
