ADM Nutrition in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, mentor staff, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time output. You will manage multiple teams, optimize workflows, monitor data and reports, and drive continuous improvement while upholding USDA, GMP, HACCP standards.

This is a full-time exempt role with opportunity to develop through training and leadership development programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor degree preferred in Manufacturing tech, Engineering, Industrial management, or related discipline.
• Data-driven problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Experience leading production in a complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for manufacturing processes to meet schedules.
• Train, mentor, develop, and evaluate production staff.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across shifts.
• Track productivity, implement efficiency improvements, and reduce costs.
• Prepare and present reports to management.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate goals.
• Utilize ERP/MRP and data tracking tools daily.
• Prioritize resources to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a full time, exempt position

Position Summary:

Leads daily manufacturing operations and workflows, manage and develop production colleagues, ensure highest level of safety and quality, maintain equipment, meets output targets, and monitor data trends through reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides technical leadership for all manufacturing processes to meet schedules
• Train, mentor, develop, and evaluate production colleagues on policies and performance.
• Monitor and ensure all shift activities are conducted under company safety, quality and regulatory (USDA, Kosher, GMP, HACCP, etc.) guidelines
• Track productivity, implement efficiency improvements, and reduce costs.
• Prepare and present reports to management.
• Conduct pre shift meetings and communicate goals and priorities.
• Daily usage of computer programs including Microsoft office suite, ERP, MRP, Data tracking software.
• Ability to quickly prioritize resources, activities, equipment, and schedule to ensure highest productivity level to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Strong ownership and communication of daily follow through for solutions to daily manufacturing issues, impact to customer orders, inventory accuracy, etc.
• Investigates root causes and sets corrective action plans for all quality, yield and other departmental deviations.
• Collaborate and develop continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma required
• Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred (Manufacturing technology, Engineering, Industrial management, or related discipline) or equivalent experience
• Critical thinking and decision making
• Data driven problem solving using six sigma, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis
• OSHA safety training

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
