Job summary

Newway Solutions Recruitment in Braeside, VIC is seeking reliable 2nd Class Welders for an immediate start with one of our trusted industrial clients. You’ll join an established manufacturing team, assist with welding, fabrication and metal assembly of cages, and learn to operate welding equipment with guidance from experienced colleagues.

This casual role offers an $38 per hour plus Super, with on-site work and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Some welding experience or a basic understanding of welding.
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• A reliable, hands-on attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality and turning up ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with welding, fabrication and metal assembly work of cages.
• Learning to work with welding equipment, tools and machinery.
• Following job specifications and instructions.
• Working alongside an experienced team to meet production targets.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
• Following all workplace health and safety requirements.
