Job summary

Labourforce in Spring Farm, NSW, seeks a 2nd Class Welder / Container Repairer to inspect, repair and modify shipping containers using MIG welding and power tools. This is a hands-on role requiring reliability, good physical fitness and the ability to work with hand and power tools.

Key duties include cutting out damaged metal, welding replacement panels, patching and painting, and following instructions in a team.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience (2nd class level or above).
• Solid experience with hand and power tools.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Able to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team.
• Full work rights.
• Physically fit due to manual handling involved.
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair shipping containers.
• Cut out rusted or damaged metal sections.
