CIN Fabrications is seeking a skilled 2nd Class Welder to join our Narangba team on a casual basis with a view to permanent employment. You will perform welding across MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored processes, reading blueprints and maintaining quality across projects.

Based in Narangba, QLD, you will be responsible for preparing materials, inspecting welds, and adhering to safety standards. A strong eye for detail and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid 2nd Class Welder qualifications or an Australian equivalent.
• Proven experience with multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick, flux-cored).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored techniques.

CIN Fabrications is seeking a skilled 2nd Class Welder to join our team on a casual basis (with a view to permanent). This position is located in Narangba, QLD 4504 and offers the flexibility of casual work arrangements. As a 2nd Class Welder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks using different techniques and materials to meet our clients' specifications and quality standards. This role is essential to our operations, as we rely on precision welding work to deliver high-quality outcomes across our diverse project portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various processes including MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored arc welding techniques
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and welding specifications to ensure accuracy
• Prepare materials and work areas, including cleaning, cutting and positioning components for welding
• Inspect welds for quality, defects and compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Follow all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on schedule
• Document work completed and maintain accurate records of welding operations

What we're looking for

• Valid 2nd Class Welder qualifications or equivalent certification recognised in Australia
• Demonstrated experience in welding various materials
• Proficiency in multiple welding processes and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards in the welding industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions and positions
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to accommodate casual work schedules
• Current First Aid certification is preferred
