Job summary

CIN Fabrications is seeking a skilled 2nd Class Welder to join our Narangba team on a casual basis with a view to permanent employment. You will perform welding across MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored processes, reading blueprints and maintaining quality across projects.

Based in Narangba, QLD, you will be responsible for preparing materials, inspecting welds, and adhering to safety standards. A strong eye for detail and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid 2nd Class Welder qualifications or an Australian equivalent.
• Proven experience with multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick, flux-cored).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored techniques.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and welding specs.
• Prepare materials and work areas, including cleaning and positioning components.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Follow health and safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Document welding work and maintain accurate records.
