Job summary

Pructon in Gladstone, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Second Class Welder to join our workshop. You will weld carbon pipework to AS4041 and B31.3, and stainless Schedule 10 pipework to AS4041 and 1554.6 standards, performing GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding in a busy fabrication environment.

The role requires around-the-shop experience around pipe racks and local sites, with a strong team focus and good communication. EWP and forklift certifications are preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding carbon steel pipework per AS4041.
• Experience welding Schedule 10 stainless steel pipework per AS4041 and 1554.6.
• EWP certification is preferred but not essential.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not essential.
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel pipework to AS4041 and B31.3 standards.

About The Role

• Welding carbon pipework in accordance with AS4041 and B31.3 standards.
• Welding stainless steel Schedule 10 pipework to AS4041 and 1554.6 standards.
• Performing essential GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding.
• Working in and around pipe racks.
• Experience working in and around local sites.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience in welding Schedule 10 stainless steel pipework.
