We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to continue and grow into their career at Counterparts Electrical Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This is a full-time role that will provide you with hands-on experience and training to become a qualified electrician.

Applicants must be 16+ years of age to be eligible for this electrical apprentice position.

Australian citizenship is required for this role.

What you’ll be doing

Assisting experienced electricians with a variety of electrical installations, solar installations, maintenance, and repair tasks

Working on new/multi residential job sites for reputable builders

Learning and applying electrical theory and practices in a real-world work environment

Participating in on-the-job training and completing formal vocational education and training

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Following all company policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

A genuine interest and enthusiasm for a career in the electrical industry

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Willingness to learn and a commitment to completing your electrical apprenticeship

A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
