Job summary

MTD Plumbing, a Sydney-based company, is seeking a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice to join the construction team. You will gain hands-on experience across sanitary drainage, stormwater, hot and cold water services, gas installations, and commercial fit-outs while working with experienced plumbers on quality projects.

The role includes reading plans, liaising with builders and site managers, and progressing through project stages to handover.

Qualifications

• Currently a 2nd/3rd/4th Year Plumbing Apprentice
• Construction plumbing experience preferred
• Holds a current drivers license
• Reliable, punctual with a positive attitude
• Team player who communicates professionally on site
• Willing to learn and grow within the trade

Responsibilities

• Sanitary drainage and stormwater rough-ins and stacks
• Hot and cold water services and gas installations
• In-ground plumbing, fit-offs and final connections

MTD Plumbing is looking for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice to join our construction team.

Established in 2005, MTD Plumbing is a Sydney-based plumbing company working across commercial and residential construction, refurbishments and fit-out projects throughout Sydney.

We're looking for someone who is already part-way through their apprenticeship and wants to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced plumbers on quality construction projects.

A company vehicle will be included as part of the employment package for the right candidate.

The Role

This position will primarily be working within our construction team, with hands-on experience across all stages of a project, including:

• Sanitary drainage and stormwater
• Rough-ins and stacks
• Hot and cold water services
• Gas installations
• In-ground plumbing
• Fit-offs and final connections
• Commercial fit-outs and refurbishments
• Reading plans and working from hydraulic drawings
• Working alongside builders, site managers and other trades
• Testing, commissioning and project completion

You’ll have the opportunity to see projects through from the early stages right through to final fit-off and handover.
