Job summary

Watertight Group in Sydney is seeking a 3rd or 4th year Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. You will work across plumbing, drainage and essential infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience alongside seasoned tradespeople in a safe, professional environment.

You'll benefit from structured training, ongoing support, and opportunities to advance after qualification. A work truck is provided from day one and you’ll be part of a team that values quality, safety and teamwork while you complete your

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled for Certificate III or IV in Plumbing with TAFE.
• General Construction Induction (White Card).
• Manual Driver's Licence.
• Able to pass a prestart medical.
• Able to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across plumbing, drainage and infrastructure.
• Work with experienced tradespeople and a supportive team.
• Contribute to safety, quality and teamwork on site.
• Maintain reliable and timely attendance and communication.

Who we're looking for

• A current third- or fourth-year plumbing apprentice
• Currently undertaking the relevant apprenticeship and TAFE training at Gymea, Randwick or Granville
• Live Lower North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, South West or Southern suburbs of Sydney - happy to travel for work across all greater Sydney daily
• A genuine desire to complete your apprenticeship and become a skilled tradesperson
• Reliable, punctual and willing to take responsibility
• Someone who listens, communicates well and takes safety seriously

Applicants must provide evidence of their apprenticeship status, year level and relevant training progress.

Must have prior to starting:

• Currently enrolled for Certificate III or IV in Plumbing from TAFE at Randwick, Granville or Gymea TAFE
• General Construction Induction (White Card)
• Manual Drivers Licence
• Comfortable passing a prestart medical
• Comfortable getting flu shot every year
• Ability to attain a Police Check, Working with Children Check and other client security clearances
