Job summary

Smartland Boutique Early Learning on the Gold Coast is seeking a proactive 2IC (Assistant Campus Manager) to support the Campus Manager and drive an outstanding curriculum across our service. The role suits a confident, relationship‑focused leader with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for early childhood education.

You will hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), a current Working with Children Check and up‑to‑date First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training,

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG.
• Ability to interpret curriculum documents.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Campus Manager when needed and support/lead your team when required.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Oversee and role model the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values.

Role Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated 2IC (Assistant Campus Manager) to support the Campus Manager and lead the delivery of high-quality curriculum across the service. This role is ideal for a confident, relationship-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership attributes and a genuine passion for early childhood education and curriculum excellence.

The successful candidate will need:

a Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)

a current and valid Working with Children Check

a Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG

an ability to interpret curriculum documents

effective oral and written communication skills

Key Role Responsibilities
