Job summary

DuPont Memcor in South Windsor, NSW, Australia is seeking a passionate Shift Manager to lead our 24/7 manufacturing site. You will influence safety culture, drive operational performance, and shape continuous improvement across production, maintenance and quality teams.

You'll oversee a four-shift leadership group, coordinating with engineering, HR, EHS and site leadership to deliver production plans while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to influence, coach and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient and compliant production activities during shifts.
• Provide direction to teams for delivery of production plans and targets.
• Coach operators, technicians, team leaders and contractors.
• Monitor processes and respond to operational issues promptly.
• Ensure manufacturing aligns with quality requirements and specs.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance and reliability initiatives.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support onboarding, training and competency development.
• Maintain effective shift handovers and communication.
