oneZero Financial Systems seeks an IT Operations Engineer to deliver reliable infrastructure and 24x7 support for a high-availability financial services environment. You will manage end-user and production systems from onboarding to offboarding with independent decision-making.

The role requires strong technical expertise, good judgment under pressure, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. Canberra office, on-site preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in IT operations or technical support.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization and networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Hands-on with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, PRTG).
• Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
• Experience with AD, Office 365, and security tools.
• Backup and disaster recovery procedures knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts.

Aufgaben

• Monitor production systems 24x7 for uptime and performance.
• Assess incident severity and determine response strategies.
• Respond to incidents with escalation decisions.
• Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with development teams during incidents.
• Document incident procedures and maintain records.
• Design maintenance windows for servers and networks.
• Apply security patches and updates to systems.
• Manage backups and verify integrity regularly.
• Provide onboarding/offboarding for end-user and production infra.
