Job summary

My Care Circle provides in-home and community-based support for a young client with epilepsy, operating a continuous 24/7 model with a dedicated team. You will work alongside clinically trained nurses or paramedics and receive seizure-management training to support daily living activities and community access.

A vehicle is available and a valid driver’s license is required. The role emphasizes teamwork, stability, and high-quality service with competitive wages; sleepovers are included and

Qualifications

• Experience in life skills and a good work ethic.
• Good time management skills.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Will be trained in seizure management; willingness to learn on the job.
• Experience in epilepsy management or Positive Behaviour Support is valued but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community supports for seizure management.
• Work with a Registered Nurse/Paramedic and follow directions.
• Be trained in seizure management and implement the client's Positive Behaviour Support Plan.
• Assist with home duties: cooking, cleaning and gardening.
• Operate within a 24/7 team roster and participate in shift swaps.
• Roster includes 0730–1530, 1530–2200, sleepovers, and 0600–0730 awake.
• Sleepovers paid at AUD 125 per 8-hour night.
