Brisbane City Council is seeking a casual carpark attendant to oversee the paid off-street carparks at King George Square and Wickham Terrace, delivering friendly service while directing traffic and maintaining facilities.

Shifts run across early mornings to late nights (5:15 am – 12:15 am) for up to 8 hours. A Criminal History Check and pre-employment medical assessment are required; WHS compliance and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a high-performing team.
• Able to manage time, work independently, make decisions and solve day-to-day problems.
• Multi-task and flexible in completing carpark attendance duties.
• Comply with WHS processes and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional carpark operations for King George Square and Wickham Terrace carparks, including 24/7 attendance.
• Assist customers with parking, address concerns and report breakdowns or incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure WHS compliance.
• Perform general admin duties using Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Work both independently and as part of a team; cover rostered hours across weekdays and weekends.
• Direct traffic, cashier duties and carpark cleaning as required.
