AACo invites you to join us in North Queensland across South Galway, Headingly, Canobie and Dalgonally. Experience life in the heart of Queensland cattle country, where no two days are the same and you’ll be part of a close‑knit community.

As a Station Hand, you’ll muster, draft and process cattle, support livestock movements and operate horses, motorbikes and station machinery, with accommodation and meals provided.

Formación

• Must enjoy outdoor work and be physically capable.
• Experience with horses and livestock handling is preferred.
• A current driver’s license and a motorbike license are required.
• Q Fever vaccination or willingness to obtain is required.

As a Station Hand, you'll play an important role in supporting daily cattle and station operations, including:* Mustering, drafting and processing cattle.* Supporting livestock movements, including trucking operations.* Operating horses, motorbikes, vehicles and station machinery.* Assisting with general station maintenance and upkeep.* Distributing feed supplements and supporting animal welfare activities.* Contributing to a safe working environment by following safe work practices and looking out for your teammates.**Required Skills & Experience:**We're looking for team players who enjoy working outdoors, are eager to learn, and have a genuine passion for the cattle industry.* Previous horse-riding, livestock handling or station experience.* A current driver's licence and motorbike licence.* A current Q Fever vaccination (or willingness to obtain).* A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to be part of station life.Whilst each station has its own unique character, facilities and team culture, you'll find the same sense of community, opportunity and adventure across every location.Here's what you can look forward to:* Develop your cattle and horsemanship skills alongside experienced station teams.* Comfortable air-conditioned accommodation and prepared meals provided.* Opportunities to transfer to other AACo properties as roles become available.* Supportive teams that work hard and enjoy the journey together.* Strong horse culture and the chance to ride some exceptional horses.* Experience the Australian outback at its best.**Join for a season.
