Nimbus Health invites graduates to join its 12-month Occupational Therapy Graduate Program across Melbourne and Queensland, designed to strengthen confidence and consolidate clinical knowledge to become an independent practitioner.

The program offers structured training, exposure to a diverse client base, and collaboration with leading home-care organisations to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in home settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) required.
• AHPRA registration by start of program essential.
• Evidence of COVID-19 and flu vaccination.
• Valid Australian driver’s license required.
• Regular access to a car needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in the community to clients funded by Support at Home/SHSP/CHSP programs.
• Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
• Review processes and contribute to the team wiki with best practices.
• Collaborate with clients' care teams and other health professionals.
• Prepare training and educational materials for partner organisations.

The Nimbus Health Graduate Program is a structured 12 month program designed to strengthen your confidence and consolidate your clinical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in the community to clients receiving funding through the Support at Home Program, Short Term Restorative Care, and the Commonwealth Home Support Program
• Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
• Continually review our current processes with an eye for improvements, including updating our team wiki with best practice
• Work and communicate with your patient's care team, including other allied health professionals and care advisers at some of Australia's leading organisations
• Prepare training and educational materials for the organisations we work closely with

About You

We are looking for candidates who genuinely care for our clients and want to make each and every experience memorable!

• Bachelor Degree of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• AHPRA registration by the start of the program
• Evidence of COVID-19 and flu vaccination
• A valid Australian driver's license
• Regular access to a car
• A positive attitude and strong desire to make a difference
• Based in either Melbourne or Queensland
