Job summary

Urban Utilities invites recent finance graduates to join the UrbanGrad program in Queensland. This 12-month graduate experience blends real work, development opportunities and mentoring, with an ongoing role on successful completion in January 2028.

You'll rotate across teams to build technical, operational and project skills, support decision-making and drive business performance while contributing to our purpose of Enriching Quality of Life.

Qualifications

  • Have completed, or be completing, a finance- or business-related degree within 24 months of the program start date.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with numerical aptitude.
  • Able to collaborate across teams and communicate insights clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Support decision-making and improve business performance through data-driven insights.
  • Participate in diverse rotations across teams to build broad skills.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enrich customer and community outcomes.

About UrbanGrad

UrbanGrad is more than a graduate program - it's a career pathway and the beginning of your career at Urban Utilities. This is a 12-month graduate program that combines real work experience, development opportunities and mentoring, with an assured ongoing role at Urban Utilities upon successful program completion in January 2028.

Eligibility
  • Have completed, or be completing, a relevant engineering degree within 24 months of the program commencement date of January 2027
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or have unrestricted working rights
  • Access to private transport to travel to our diverse operational locations
