Data#3 in Canberra is seeking 2 x Senior Cloud Engineers to join a high-performing team delivering modern cloud solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment. Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise Azure-based solutions.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Certifications in Cloud, DevOps, or Security preferred; government sector experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Azure cloud solutions
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using modern automation frameworks
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Build clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable code
• Participate in architecture, design, and planning workshops
• Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership and cloud expertise to project teams
• Support the adoption of cloud operational, security, and governance best practices
• Extensive experience delivering enterprise solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar technologies
• Proven experience designing and implementing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities using PowerShell, Python, C#, or Shell scripting
• Deep understanding of Azure networking, storage, compute, and identity services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience with Git and source control practices
• Test automation development and implementation
• Azure PaaS provisioning and management
• Cloud infrastructure provisioning through automation and IaC
• Relevant Cloud, DevOps, or Security certifications
• Previous experience within the Australian Government sector

We are seeking 2 x Senior Cloud Engineers to join a high-performing team delivering modern cloud solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex cloud initiatives, helping design, build and support secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies.

You will work closely with project teams, architects, and technical specialists to lead the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure, automation, networking, and platform solutions while promoting best practice cloud engineering and DevOps methodologies.
