Secondary Teachers | Science & Maths | HASS & English

Commencing 2027 Term 1 - 2 Positions Available

An opportunity has become available for 2 passionate, experienced teachers to join our enthusiastic team.

• Secondary Science & Maths Teacher
• Secondary HASS & English Teacher

The successful applicant will have the capacity to plan, teach, and assess, in relation to the Australian Curriculum. The main focus of this position is to assume the responsibility for distance education students, in secondary Science/Maths & HASS/English , and work from the school office in Atherton or your home office as determined by the Principal.

Successful Applicants Will Have

• Ability to use a wide range of teaching strategies to cater to student learning needs and to effectively monitor student progress.

• Proven ability to be reflective and possess a commitment to learning and professional development.
• A genuine commitment to supporting the discovery and development of the students' unique God-given gifts and personalities
• The ability to teach from a Biblical Worldview.
• High motivation and organisational skills, with regards to planning and delivery of curriculum with reference to relevant frameworks, including ACARA and QCAA.
• Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Teaching experience in relevant areas.
• Proven ability to modify programs for students with additional needs.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to communicate effectively with students, parents and all school personnel.
• Willingness and proven ability to utilise and adapt to using existing technology platforms for all teaching, communication and record-keeping and time management.
• High-level communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.

• The ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
• Applicant must hold a C class drivers licence and be willing to travel.
