• Measure, cut, lay, and finish wall and floor tiles.
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a small team on residential and/or commercial sites.

Ben Laughren Tiling is a locally owned tiling business based in Toowoomba and is seeking someone to commence a full-time Wall and Floor Tiling apprenticeship.

This position would suit a school leaver.

This role offers hands-on training on real job sites, combined with formal off-the-job training through TAFE, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Duties and responsibilities

Under supervision, the apprentice will learn to:

• Prepare surfaces for tiling, including waterproofing
• Measure, cut, lay, and finish wall and floor tiles
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

About you
