Job summary

You will undertake off-the-job training through TAFE to achieve a nationally recognised qualification, with full training provided and no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Be a recent school leaver or entry-level candidate.
• Have a genuine interest in learning a trade.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be physically capable of manual work.
• Be able to get themselves to and from work sites each day (local to Toowoomba).
• Be willing to obtain a Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for tiling, including waterproofing.
• Measure, cut, lay, and finish wall and floor tiles.
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a small team on residential and/or commercial sites.
