Job summary

CJD Equipment in Brisbane is seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice to start a career in heavy equipment, while completing a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.

You’ll learn to service Volvo construction equipment, develop practical skills under experienced technicians, and use modern tools and diagnostic systems. This full-time apprenticeship includes a 38-hour week and strong mentorship for long-term career opportunities at CJD.

Qualifications

• Completed Year 11 or 12, ideally with maths and science subjects.
• Genuine interest in mechanics, machinery or automotive industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A current driver’s licence (manual preferred).
• Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
• Willingness to learn and good mechanical aptitude.
