JK Williams Group in Western Sydney is seeking a self-motivated 1st Year Apprentice Civil Construction to join full-time from early 2027. You’ll work with experienced operators on large civil sites, learning to dig trenches, lay line and culverts, and begin operating mobile plant as you study.

This role includes paid training with above‑award pay, a fully funded Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operations), and genuine career growth in a supportive team that prioritises safety.

Qualifications

• Year 10 completed (ROSA).
• WHS Industry Induction Card (White Card).
• Australian permanent residency or valid work rights.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches on civil sites.

1st Year Apprentice Civil Construction | Full-time | Western Sydney | Starting early 2027

Ever looked at an excavator and thought, "I want to drive that"? If you love being outdoors and want to earn while you learn a trade, this apprenticeship is for you.

JK Williams Group is a well-established and highly regarded Tier 2 civil construction company based in Western Sydney. We're looking for a motivated Apprentice Civil Construction Worker to join our team full-time from early 2027.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work alongside experienced operators on large civil construction sites around mobile plant and machinery. Day to day you'll be:

• Digging trenches
• Laying ag line and culverts
• Learning to operate mobile plant

You'll get to work across a range of projects, including residential subdivisions, civil infrastructure and road construction - so no two weeks look the same.

Who We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in civil construction and working around machines
• A can-do attitude and the drive to learn and improve
• Good at following directions and communicating clearly
• A team player who works well in a small crew
• Committed to safety (WHS) on site
• Happy to take on all tasks set by your Site Supervisor
• Willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime
• Keen to attend classes and complete your study
• Committed to finishing a three-year apprenticeship
• Able to read and interpret basic plans (don't worry - we'll train you)
