JK Williams Group in Western Sydney is seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Civil Pipe Layer to join our team from early 2027. You'll learn on outdoor sites, working with experienced pipe layers on large civil projects and earning a proper wage while you learn a trade.

The role covers trench digging, reading plans, laying stormwater pipes, ag line and conduits, plus operating mobile plant. We provide training, safety-focused culture, and a clear path to completing a three-year

1st Year Apprentice Civil Pipe Layer | Full‑time | Western Sydney | Starting early 2027

JK Williams Group is a well‑established and highly regarded Tier 2 civil construction company based in Western Sydney. We’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Civil Pipe Layer to join our team full‑time from early 2027.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll learn to be an all‑rounder, working alongside experienced pipe layers on large civil construction sites around mobile plant and machinery. Day to day you’ll be:

• Digging trenches
• Learning to read construction plans
• Laying stormwater pipes, ag line and electrical conduits
• Learning to operate mobile plant

You’ll get to work across a range of projects, including residential subdivisions, civil infrastructure and road construction - so no two weeks look the same.

Who We’re Looking For

• A genuine interest in civil construction and pipe laying
• A can‑do attitude and the drive to learn and improve
• Good at following directions and communicating clearly
• A team player who works well in a small crew---but I lost the line, rem or? Need to keep structure.
• Committed to safety (WHS) on site
• Happy to take on all tasks set by your Site Supervisor
• Willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime
• Keen to attend classes and complete your study
• Committed to finishing a three‑year apprenticeship
• Able to read and interpret basic plans (don’t worry - we’ll train you)
