Job summary

Squad invites applications for 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Fabricator Apprentice in Carrum Downs, VIC. The role offers full-time hours (38 per week), PPE provided, and a nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication as part of the program.

Responsibilities include welding, measuring, marking out, setting up machinery, fabricating metal components, and finishing products. Tuition fees are covered, and applicants must have welding experience and a White Card.

Squad in conjunction with our valued Host Employer are seeking a passionate individual to join their team as a 2nd ,3rd or 4th Year Fabricator Apprentice.

The Role

This role comes with a plenty of variety and the chance to get highly sought after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Welding (Boilermaker)
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
• Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
• Fabricating and constructing metal components.
• Grinding and finishing completed products.

Locations: Carrum Downs VIC
Contracted Hours: 38hrs
Salary Range: $17.15 - $26.27 p/h
Commencement Date: ASAP
