Job summary

Cummins Inc. invites undergraduate students in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Product Engineering to join a 13-month full‑time internship at our Scoresby office, commencing 27 January 2027.

You will create 3D CAD models, develop design concepts, and produce detailed drawings for manufacturing. You will coordinate engineering changes and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support new and existing products.

Qualifications

• Strong academic results in Mathematics and engineering fundamentals.
• CAD modelling using SolidWorks, CREO, Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and project basics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models and develop design concepts within project specifications.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing release.
• Coordinate engineering change requests and support change management activities.
• Liaise with procurement and cross-functional teams to support product development.
