Lhr is offering a full-time Electrical Assistant position in Melbourne, supporting qualified auto electricians and caravan manufacturing professionals. You will perform brakes, bearings, and 12V electrical work, install awnings, air-conditioners, and fridges, and conduct electrical testing while learning from experienced tradespeople.

The role requires reliable, safety-minded individuals who can read technical drawings and work autonomously within a team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working as an electrical assistant.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Capable of reading and interpreting drawings and specs.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the job.

Aufgaben

• Brakes and Bearing services on vehicles and trailers.
• Install awnings and air-conditioners.
• Install fridges and 12V electrical systems.
• Perform electrical tests and troubleshoot faults.
• Work Monday to Friday in a well-equipped manufacturing environment.

Your new role will see you working alongside qualified auto electricians, plumbers and experience caravan manufacturing professionals.

Duties & Skills will include but not limited to..

• Brakes and Bearing services
• Installation of Awnings & Air-conditioners
• Installation of Fridges
• 12v electrical work, Lights, fans, connections, etc
• Conducting Electrical Test & Problem Solving

The successful applicant will possess

• Experience working as an electrical assistant
• Can use hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and high safety standards
• Must be capable of handling 20kg plus
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Looking for a permanent opportunity

• Show great attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Have the ability to work autonomously in a team environment
• Have excellent communication skills
• Reliable and willing to learn new skills and conduct quality repairs
