Job summary

Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists announces a 12-month Speciality Internship in Emergency and Critical Care at SASH Alexandria. This structured program offers exposure to ER, ICU, and ward cases with supervision from experienced specialists.

You will engage in journal clubs, rounds, and didactic sessions, expanding diagnostic and imaging skills while developing clinical confidence and professionalism within a leading emergency service network.

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Current registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW (or eligible to receive).
• Interest in specialisation and/or further education.
• Rotating internship desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with ECC Department alongside specialists and clinicians.
• Split clinical shifts between Emergency Room, Ward and ICU to gain broad exposure.
• Participate in journal club, ER rounds and didactic opportunities.
• Contribute to case management under supervision to maximise learning.
