Job summary

Isaac Regional Council in Moranbah is seeking a People & Capability Officer to manage recruitment, onboarding and provide guidance across the organisation. This role requires strong administration, stakeholder collaboration and high service levels.

You will support the People & Capability team, handle confidential matters, and contribute to a positive employee experience in a busy regional council environment.

As our People & Capability Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting all things people, from recruitment and onboarding to providing advice, guidance, and administrative support across the organisation.

Working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, you'll help attract great talent, support employees and leaders through people processes, and ensure our People & Capability team keeps running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be someone who can juggle competing priorities, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

For this position we offer:

• Salary $86,684.00 - $94,446.00 per annum (Stream A, Level 3 - 4)
• Permanent
• Full-time position (72.5 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday)
• Location – Preferred location is Moranbah, however open to other locations within the Isaac Regionfor the right candidate.
• RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement (only eligible for full-time employees)
• 5 weeks annual leave pro-rata @ 17.5% loading
• 15 days’ personal leave pro rata per annum
• Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
