Job summary

Indigitise Pty Ltd is seeking an EL1 Senior Data Analyst to lead complex, technical work with limited direction, ensuring compliance with agency policies, standards and methodologies.

The role will lead a small team of Data Analysts within a strategic change program delivering critical data assets and capabilities for the NDIA. You will apply curiosity and critical thinking to diagnose and solve problems in a multi-disciplinary environment.

• Active participation in small, multi-disciplinary teams to design, build, deploy and maintain data assets and data products in the NDIA cloud data platform.
• Presentation of complex technical options, decisions and results tailored to audiences with varying technical/data literacy.
• Data wrangling, profiling and quality assessment of new or changed data sources and new data integrations.
• Translation of business rules and requirements into coded transformations.
• Design and prototype development of new data attributes and products.
• Data validation testing including defect and anomaly remediation.
• Shared accountability for data products that are robust and error free.
• Maintaining code base and documentation standards, and sharing knowledge across analyst teams.

The EL1 Senior Data Analyst is expected to lead and undertake complex, technical work under limited direction that is compliant with agency policies, procedures, standards, and methodologies.

The Senior Data Analyst will be lead, coach and guide a small group of Data Analysts working within a strategic change program that delivers important data assets and capabilities for the NDIA. The role requires highly developed technical skills, curiosity and critical thinking in order to diagnose and solve problems and deliver high quality outcomes in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
