Job summary

NDIA in Brisbane is seeking an EL1 Fullstack Engineer (Labour Hire) to deliver complex, high-quality outcomes across the Agency’s systems and integrations. You will work under broad direction, exercising independent problem solving and judgement to provide senior level advice and support.

You will collaborate with key stakeholders and the local full-stack team to enhance and support NDIA projects, negotiate on behalf of the NDIA when required, and drive delivery in line with NDIA architectural

Qualifications

• Experience with agile software development methodologies and project governance.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, deploying, and supporting the Agency's systems, applications, and integrations.
• Prioritise and managing the work queue to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
• Ensuring that all solutions adhere to integration best practices and NDIA architectural principles and are well documented.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Playing a key leadership role in project teams, utilising an agile development framework.
• Engaging with stakeholders to define project requirements, set priorities, and deliver results.
• Actively participate in code reviews - both as the reviewer and the reviewee to ensure coding quality and standards are maintained.
• Ensuring that solutions are pragmatic, value for money, and deliver on their intended purpose.

The EL1 Fullstack Engineer (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the functions of the NDIA.

The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in complex problem solving and issues management within the functions. The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to produce senior level advice and support.

The EL1 Fullstack Engineer (Labour Hire) is required to collaborate with key business stakeholders and our local full-stack team to enhance and support the development of projects within the NDIA project teams.

The position is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the NDIA to advance the NDIA's interests across a range of forums.
