Job summary

Discover Nursing Australia in Wyelangta, VIC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for 1:1 high-intensity and complex care in a participant's home. The role combines autonomous practice with clinical leadership in a nurse-led organisation.

You will assess, monitor, manage medications, enteral feeding, wound care and emergency planning, while liaising with families and health professionals. Flexible contracting arrangement supports varied shifts and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or recognised equivalent qualification.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You.
• Current Australian working rights.
• Current driver's licence.
• Reliable vehicle suitable for travelling to the participant's location.
• ABN or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive nursing assessment and ongoing clinical monitoring.
• Medication administration and management.
• Complex bowel care, enteral feeding and PEG management.
• Dysphagia support and mealtime care.
• Seizure monitoring and respiratory assessment.
• Wound care and skin integrity management.
• Continence and catheter-related care.
• Diabetes management and pressure injury prevention.
• Emergency management and escalation when required.
• Clinical documentation and liaison with family and health professionals.
