POSITION
Due to growth, a brand-new opportunity has opened for a Pump Workshop Supervisor. In this role you will lead and manage a well-established workshop team, overseeing repairs and overhauls on centrifugal, submersible, and split casing pumps. You'll be hands-on in quoting, quality control, work-flow management and customer interaction, while also mentoring a skilled team of technicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and grow the pump workshop, managing work-flow and staff performance
  • Prepare accurate assessments, quotes and oversee parts sourcing
  • Monitor workshop progress, inspections, and ensure quality standards
  • Liaise directly with customers, delivering technical advice and solutions
  • Conduct final checks and sign-off on all completed jobs
  • Visit client sites when required

CANDIDATE

To be considered you must have:

  • A strong background in pump repair and refurbishment
  • Previous workshop leadership/supervisory experience
  • Qualified Mechanical Fitter or similar trade

  • High attention to detail, strong computer skills and clear communication
  • Professional presentation required in dealing with employees, clients and suppliers
