We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis with above-market salary, excellent conditions and a great team culture.

Events Fantastic is a creative event hire company based in the Gold Coast. We help event planners and venues create truly memorable events by transforming their ideas into fantastic experiences. Our brands include Events Fantastic Production & Décor, Backdrops Fantastic, Modular Backdrops, and Light Up Letters. Our head office is in Burleigh Heads, and we service events Australia-wide.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will take charge of the Warehouse Operations and the warehouse team and be responsible for operating it in an efficient, accurate and productive way

To be successful in this position with us, you’ll have:

3+ years of experience in warehouse operations of a hire business at a Management/Supervisory level

A Manual Drivers License & Reach Forklift License (or be willing to obtain it)

Experienced in loading and unloading trucks

Efficient time management skills with a calm and steady approach.

Ability to work in a busy, high-paced and flexible environment.

Ability to motivate and manage the warehouse team

Interested in the events industry and keen to get involved in the planning and preparation of client events, with a high attention to detail

Experience and confidence with Google Suite & Microsoft Office.

Your responsibilities as the Warehouse Manager will include:

Overseeing the management of the warehouse and inventory systems, ensuring that all equipment and inventory are tracked, maintained and stored efficiently

Ensuring all event deadlines are met and orders are processed, planned, dispatched, unpacked and deprepped in the most efficient way.

Managing stocktake and stock control for all inventory and hire items.

Using our RMS software system to manage inventory and quarantined products

Managing Freight - liaising with project managers and transport daily.

Hands-on involvement in the loading/unloading of vehicles at the warehouse.

Meeting clients who are collecting and returning orders and transporting deliveries, including label preparation

Oversee the workplace health and safety, organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse.
