Overview

The Warehouse Optimisation Manager at adorne is responsible for overseeing all warehousing and logistics within the business. This includes managing inventory, streamlining the supply chain, optimising the customer experience and ensuring the smooth execution of business processes on and offline. The Warehouse Optimisation Manager will also oversee technology and systems within the warehouse. You’ll work cross functionally to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions for the business as we scale while ensuring the day-to-day operational functions are running smoothly and efficiently. The role works closely with the marketing, buying and sales teams to align operational strategies with company goals, driving both customer satisfaction and business objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inventory and supply chain management
    • Oversee all aspects of order fulfillment including warehouse operations, shipping and logistics and returns processing
    • Work closely with Inventory Controller to ensure minimal stock discrepancies and implement processes to reduce this
    • Oversee all stocktake and inventory reconciliation processes in the business
    • Organise warehouse storage and racking systems to maximise efficiency and space
    • Lead by example demonstrating values of integrity and accountability. Encourage a positive team environment
    • Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team fostering a culture of high performance, ensuring ongoing training, feedback and development
    • Conduct and lead daily huddles to reinforce team focus, safety, housekeeping and learning opportunities
    • Create and monitor team KPIs to ensure performance targets are met, focusing on operational excellence, cost management and customer satisfaction
  • WHS
    • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with Workplace Health & Safety regulations, creating a safe and efficient working environment
    • Maintain organised and clean warehouse environment, reducing the risk of workplace accidents

    • Strong data-driven decision making and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent organisational skills, reliability, efficiency and attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Commitment to high quality customer service
    • IT/Systems experience is beneficial
