Qualifikationen

• Completed IT/CS degree or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in backup & storage infrastructure administration.
• Experience with enterprise backup/recovery solutions, preferably Veeam B&R and Veeam ONE.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and containerized workloads backup/recovery.
• Automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, or similar.
• Experience with enterprise tape libraries and long-term retention.
• Familiarity with storage platforms (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE).
• Strong VMware, Windows Server, Linux skills.

Aufgaben

• Operate and maintain Veeam B&R, Veeam ONE, deduplication appliances, and tape systems.
• Design and optimize backup, recovery, and data protection across virtual, physical, cloud, and Kubernetes environments.
• Administer backup/recovery for Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, APIs) for tasks and reporting.
• Plan file servers, NAS, and data migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Manage tape infrastructure, offsite vaulting, and long-term retention strategies.
• Perform restores, DR testing, and recovery exercises for critical services.
• Maintain technical docs and runbooks; collaborate across VMware, Linux, Windows, Cloud teams.
