We develop the best timetable for millions of students, teachers, and parents. And for that, we need your support! We are looking for an immediate start: UX/UI Designer (m/f/d)

As an experienced UX/UI Designer at Untis, you will live the user-centered design process together with your team and the UX lead, representing the needs of users across the company. You will work closely with our product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to create digital products for everyday school life that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional and user-friendly.

You will develop and iterate design concepts in the form of mockups, flowcharts, and interactive prototypes based on user needs and insights gained from UX research. You will present and argue for design solutions to internal and external stakeholders. You understand the importance of UX research in the design process and are responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing UX research methods such as user interviews, usability tests, surveys, etc.

• Salary: Market-oriented salary range between €43,400 and €65,800 gross per year (for 38.5 hours/week, not all-inclusive), depending on your qualification and experience.

Essential skills for your mission

• Must-Have: At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design of digital products (web and mobile)
• Excellent skills in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using common tools (especially Figma)
• Solid experience in UX research (interviews, usability tests, surveys)
• Experience with agile working methods and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with design systems and basic UI/UX patterns
• German and English skills (C1 level) for clear communication of your concepts

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Matomo, Google Analytics)
• Knowledge in educational technology (EdTech)
